In a momentous ceremony held at the Provincial Capitol Grounds on November 6, 2023, Governor Peter “Sr. Pedro" M. Unabia swore in more than eight hundred (884) newly elected Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials, marking a significant milestone for these public servants who emerged victorious in the recent Barangay and SK Elections on October 30, 2023.

Representing various municipalities across the province, including Lugait, Libertad, Alubijid, Villanueva, Kinoguitan, Sugbongcogon, Salay, and Balingasag, these officials are prepared to serve their communities with commitment and unwavering dedication.

Honorable Angelito Ducto, the newly appointed Chairman of Barangay Mambayaan in Balingasag, expressed his profound gratitude for the trust bestowed upon him by his constituents.

The event was graced with the presence of esteemed dignitaries and government officials, including Vice Governor Jeremy Jonahmar “Jigjag” Pelaez, Chief of Staff Matthew Valleser, who represented Congressman Yevgeny Vincente “Bambi” Emano, members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Municipal Mayors and officials from across the province, along with other special guests.

The oath taking of these newly elected officials marks the beginning of a new chapter loaded with opportunities and challenges as they promise to make a positive difference in the lives of their constituents.
