CAGAYAN de Oro City — Misamis Oriental Gov. Juliette Uy joined provincial government employees in the Bangon Cheerdance Competition on Monday, Sept. 7, as the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental (PGMO) kicked off its Sportsfest.
Uy danced with employees at the Provincial Capitol Grounds as part of the month-long celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.
Cluster 5 won the cheerdance competition, besting five other clusters composed of employees from various provincial government offices.
Cluster 5 included personnel from the Provincial Engineering Office, PMIS, Treasurer’s Office, Provincial Youth Development Office, Legal Office, and IKNB.
In her message, Uy thanked PGMO employees for their dedication to serving the public, particularly in responding to the needs of Misamis Oriental residents.
She also recognized employees who continue to perform their duties despite workplace challenges, stressing the importance of commitment and wholehearted public service.
Cluster 4, meanwhile, won the PGMO Best Majorette Showdown.
The cheerdance competition is among the activities lined up for the month-long Civil Service Anniversary celebration.
