AUTHORITIES have arrested a 25-year-old Bukidnon resident in connection with a rape case.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Provincial Police Director in Bukidnon, identified the suspect as Marvin Jaime alias ‘Marvin Velasco Jayme,’ 25, single and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Maapag, Valencia City of the said province.
He was arrested by personnel assigned at Valencia City Police Station, together with Regional Mobile Force Battalion-10, and 1003rd Maneuver Company at Purok 4, Barangay Poblacion of the said city at 12:25 pm, last Tuesday.
Judge Wilfredo Bibera, Jr. of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 10, Malaybalay City, who issued the warrant of the arrest last November 28, 2018, did not allow the suspect to put up bail for the supposed temporary liberty.
The accused is temporarily detained at Valencia police station jail for proper disposition.
