ENFORCERS from Iligan City police arrested a certain Richard Pacquiao, 29, during a buy-bust operation in one of the barangays in this city, Thursday afternoon.
The suspected shabu user, Pacquiao is now languishing in jail for just .03 grams of “shabu” in the Iligan City police detention cell.
City police director Police Col. Dominador Estrada said the suspect Pacquiao a.k.a. 'Vandam', was a driver, and a resident of Purok 1B, Barangay Buru-un of the said city.
He was arrested by operatives of Station Drug Enforcement Team of police station 2 at Purok 1A of the said Barangay at 5 pm, according to Estrada.
Recovered from him were 4 small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with an estimated street value of P2,000, and a P500 bill buy-bust money.
Estrada said the suspect is now under the custody of the said operating unit while cases for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002” is being prepared.
