A 25-year-old suspected rapist was arrested by Valencia City police in Bukidnon at 12:25 pm.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, the province’s Police Regional Director, identified the suspect as Marvin Jaime alias Marvin Velasco Jayme, single, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay. Maapag of the said city.
He was arrested at Purok 3, Poblacion of the same Barangay by a team of Valencia police and Regional Mobile Force Battalion-10 and 1003rd Maneuver Company.
The raiding team was armed with a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Wilfredo Bibera, Jr, of the Regional Trial Court 10, Branch 10, Malaybalay City Bukidnon dated November 28.
Due to the gravity of the charge, the Judge did not allow the suspect to post bail.
