Dili qualified ang clay liner sa sanitary landfill sa Talisayan nga mahimong basurahan,” she said.

For his part, Taray hopes that they could find a solution to the problem at the soonest time possible.

However, the expert said there is actually a solution to the problem as she recommend and presented during the seminar.

Arca said there are materials that can be processed that can then replace the clay liner that failed the test.

Taray thanked the team from Central Mindanao University based in Maramag, Bukidnon.

The seminar was attended by the Talisayan Police, the Local Bureau of Fire and Protection, SB Members, the Philippine Coastguard, Municipal Environmental and Natural Resources, and other local government employees.
