TALISAYAN Mayor Rico T. Taray ordered the temporary closure of the old road (bypass road) and three town streets of Miguel Pelaez, Del Carmen, and Manuel Roxas from July 7 to July 16.

The temporary closure of said road and streets is done under Executive Order No.28 series of 2023 recently issued by the town mayor to ensure safety and public order during the week-long celebration of the fiesta to honor the town Patron “Birhen del Carmen.”

Taray said he wanted the celebration safe and orderly as he expected a crowd especially devotees to come to observe the religious practices to honor the town’s patron.
