IN the spirit of Christmas, the Villa Anchor Eagles Club (VAEC) of Villanueva town in Misamis Oriental led by its Eagles Charter Club President Joenard Tudtud organized a heartwarming event to spread joy not just to kids, but also to the cherished senior citizens of Poblacion Villanueva.
This meaningful gathering was held in preparation for the upcoming Christmas celebration in 2023.
A total of 50 resilient senior citizens were the recipients of special care and thoughtfulness during this event.
They were presented with rice and Christmas packs, which included a delightful assortment of goodies.

The VAEC members aimed to create an atmosphere of love, happiness, and camaraderie by extending their heartwarming gestures to these elderly individuals, who are young at heart.
Following this remarkable act of compassion, the VAEC hosted a General Membership Meeting and Christmas party.

This event was attended by the club's dedicated members, who demonstrated unity and solidarity in making the occasion truly memorable.
Amidst the merriment, countless Christmas giveaways and exciting activities were organized to enhance the festive atmosphere.
Governor Eric E. Daabay, representing Northern Mindanao Region 12 Bagwis Dos consistently underscores the importance of spreading joy during the season of celebration.
He emphasized the significance of every regional club, including the VAEC, in promoting happiness and inclusiveness for everyone.
"By extending their love and generosity, these clubs contribute to making Christmas a magical time for people of all ages," said Daabay.
The gift-giving activity and the joyous Christmas party organized by the Villa Anchor Eagles Club exemplify the true essence of the holiday season, Daabay said--bringing people together, regardless of age, to foster love, kindness, and happiness.
Daabay said it is through these small yet meaningful gestures that the spirit of Christmas thrives and touches the lives of those in need within the community.
