By Edwin Iyo, Correspondent Gingoog City — Bukidnon Provincial Governor Jose Ma.  Zubiri did not show up in a scheduled consultative meeting here which has pushed organizers to reschedule next week. A source at City Hall said Mayor Marie Guingona reportedly invited Zubiri as the guest of honor and one of the main speakers in the city consultative meeting on the formulation of the 2017-2022 Regional Development Plan. However, Zubiri, who is the Regional Development Council chairman, could not attend so they have decided to postpone the meeting to later date, City Assistant Administrator John Ladaga said. According to Ancio Felisan, City Development Officer, Zubiri had a scheduled meeting with President Rodrigo Duterte at Mala-cañang on the same date as the consultative meeting. “Ang rason nga dili maka attend si Gov. Zubiri tungod kay gipatawag siya sa Malacañang,” said Felisan. Felisan added that other dignitaries invited to the consultative meeting also could not attend because of conflict in schedules. The whole day consultative meeting will be rescheduled on Dec. 6, said Ladaga.
