CITY Councilor George Goking's strong efforts being done as the chair of the City Council's committee on trade and commerce to hasten the movement of farm and fishery products to stabilize city's supply and prices were seen by reelectionist Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri, Thursday.
Zubiri even looked at Goking's platform, the one who advocating “Bantay Presyo” (Price Act) dealt by him (Goking) accordingly.
Zubiri, who met Goking's son Chris (George Christopher), Monday, a day before BBM-Sara grand rally in Cagayan De Oro, said that Goking's “Bantay Presyo” is no stranger to the challenges for having been a public servant from city's first district and has been on his second stint in the City Council.
“I know, we'll win and you will win. Please may I know what flagship projects are, para pud ko makatabang nimo,” Zubiri said, as he described Goking running on a platform centered on good governance, which he believes would uplift the lives of Kagay-anons and the business sector as reflected in Goking's campaign watchword, "Bantay Presyo Malikayan ang Abuso."
