Organizers reportedly titled the forum the 'Rage Coalition,' where he officially assumed the PDP party presidency. Insiders now peg him as the 'Plan B' candidate—the successor who will run for President if an impeachment disqualifies VP Sara.
True to the forum's name, the speech was full of rage. He directed his rage particularly at President Bongbong Marcos. Even without grand gestures, one could see him in his "tattooed" splendor.

Baste’s tattoos, however, are unique—colorful red and green designs covering his body. Seeing him on screen ignited a memory: not long ago, he challenged then-PNP Chief Nicolas Torre III to a boxing match. When Torre accepted, Baste was a no-show.
