For many, it’s about convenience and security. Living close to work or school, having less maintenance to worry about and enjoying modern amenities outweigh the higher costs.
“I work near Pueblo, and renting a condo nearby saves me two hours of daily commute. Yes, it’s pricier than renting an apartment, but the time and convenience I gain are worth it,” shares Micah Soreño, a 25-year-old IT professional.
If you’re a young professional seeking independence, a family looking for a safe space near the city or a student wanting to live closer to your campus, condo living in Cagayan de Oro definitely has its perks — but it comes with a price tag that’s not always budget-friendly.
Ultimately, the decision boils down to what you value more: space and affordability in the suburbs, or convenience and lifestyle within the city center.
