Valley View Township, named ‘Jewel of the South,’ to address housing gaps in Normin

REAL estate developer RGJ Realty Corporation on Thursday committed anew to address housing gaps not only in northern Mindanao cities and towns but in the Visayas and Mindanao.

“This is a concrete step towards achieving the dream of giving Filipino families decent shelters or places to live,” said RGJ Realty Corporation Vice-President for marketing Ritchie Salloman.

The proposed 14-hectare mixed-use development to be located in Sta Ana, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental will even be breaking ground soon, according to Salloman.

“Amenities for the condominium cluster include swimming pools, clubhouse, convenient stores, fitness gym, and ample parking spaces,” said Salloman.

The development is envisioned to be a green residential address with amenities of urban life in a themed-park residential township nestled on top of a hill overlooking Macajalar Bay.

The project, Salloman explained will be composed of eight clusters of midrise (12-story with Penthouse) condominiums and 32 units of high-end villas neatly nestled along the property ridge, and well-planned roads and pathways.

“It’s a particular kind of master-planned, a township project,” he said adding that a self-contained mixed-use development where residents are given access to facilities not only for living but for working as well.

According to Salloman the real estate developer RGJ Realty Corporation owned by former congressman Romeo G. Jalosjos poised to host a P4-B residential township project in prime property in barangay Sta. Ana.

“Cong Jalosjos’ goal remains to provide shelter to every Filipino family, especially to the less fortunate ones,” said Salloman.

Salloman also said the project was also part of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s housing program dubbed Pambansang Pabahay para as mga Pilipino.

An estimated 30 million Filipinos will benefit from the 6 million housing program of the President in the country.

In an earlier report that the goal of the National Housing Para sa Pilipino (4Ps) program is to build 6.15 million housing units within six years or the entire term of President Marcos.

“This will be the first housing program by President Marcos here in Mindanao,” said Salloman.
