TWO suspected drug pushers in Gingoog City were arrested by authorities during an anti-drug operation Tuesday, this week.
Police Col. Raniel Valones, Misamis Oriental Provincial Police Director, identified the suspects as Leif Gary Amoroto, Jr., 20, single; and Rajeh Kim Pagara, 32, single, and both residing at Purok 2, Barangay 13 of the said city.
Lagare said the suspects were arrested at about 2 pm by a joint team assigned at Gingoog City Police Station led by Police Lt. Col. Mitchel Clemencio, and the province’s 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company.
Confiscated from the suspects were 20 elongated heat-sealed transparent cellophane containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with an estimated street value of P16,500, a P500 bill buy-bust money, P6,200 cash, several drug paraphernalia, and personal belongings.
All the confiscated items were brought to the Regional Forensic Unit 10, Cagayan de Oro City for quantitative and qualitative examination.
While the suspects are now under the custody of Gingoog police.
