TWO persons were arrested by government operatives in a separate buy-bust operation in Misamis Oriental last Saturday.
Police Col. Raniel Valones, Misamis Oriental Provincial Police Director, identified the suspects as Kirt Cherom Paguidopon, 33, single, unemployed, and residing at Barangay Sta. Cruz, Tagoloan; and Eunard Yasay-Romorosa, 26, single, and a resident of Zone 2, Poblacion, Opol, both of the said province.
In a police report, it was revealed that the first to be arrested was Paguidopon. He was nabbed at about 3 pm while at Zone 3, Barangay Katipunan, Villanueva by members of the Villanueva municipal police station led by Police Major Dennis Cerilla.
While Ramorosa was busted at 8:30 pm at Zone 3, Taboc, Opol by an operating team assigned at Opol municipal police station led by Police Maj. Michael Salvador Lacasan.
Taken from Paguidopon were five small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu, some personal belongings, and a Mio Yamaha motorcycle.
While from Ramorosa, police were able to seize five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets.
All the combined confiscated contraband has an estimated street value of P10, 000.
The suspects are now currently under the custody of respective police headquarters.
