FOR only P5,000 worth of illegal drugs, two suspects are now languishing in jail in Villanueva town, Misamis Oriental, at 7 pm yesterday.
Police Maj. Renz Marion Serrano, Villanueva Municipal Police Station chief, identified the suspects as Raymond Sumalinog, and Aphatric Daguimol, both of legal age, and residing at Sitio Bugwak, Barangay Sta. Cruz, Tagoloan of the said province.
The operating team was able to confiscate from the suspects’ possession 8 small sachets containing a white crystallized substance believed to be shabu placed in a leather coin purse, a P500 bill buy-bust money, and several shabu paraphernalia.
The suspects are now detained at the said police station for booking and proper disposition.
Confiscated items were brought to Forensic Unit 10 for qualitative and quantitative examinations.
