By NITZ ARANCON Correspondent SOME 42 teachers of the United Church of Christ in the Philippinesun Dansalan College in Marawi are still trapped in the strife-torn city. The Rev. Riodel Manzano, conference minister of the UCCP for Lanao  del Sur and Lanao del Norte, said they have yet to receive fresh information about the 42 teachers. Manzano said there were seven other teachers who were taken hostage by the Maute group together with the Roman Catholic priest Fr. Chito Suganob and church workers under him. “Wala pa kami balita,” Manzano said of the fate of the 42 trapped teachers and the seven who were snatched by the Maute group. The Marawi crisis proved to be costly on the part of the school that lost five of its buildings. “The buildings were burned down, ” Manzano said.
