A senior citizen farmer who had just surrendered himself to the police for various offenses was again arrested by authorities for a new warrant of arrest.
The 66-year-old Flaviano Camanyan alias “Boy Camanyan” residing at Sitio Nasandigan, Barangay Kalabugao, Impasugong of the said province, received his new warrant of arrest while inside Impasug-ong municipal jail.
Aside from a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of arson, and illegal possession of explosives, a new arrest warrant indicates that he is also being charged with multiple attempted murders.
To the first warrant of arrest issued by Judge Eldred Cole, the acting presiding judge, Regional Trial Court-Branch 10, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon recommended the suspect a bail bond amounting to P840,000 except for illegal possession of explosives which has none-bailable.
For the second warrant of arrest, the same judge disallowed the suspect to post bail.
Impasug-ong Municipal Police Station chief police Major Jaemar Paguidopon said Camanyan voluntarily submitted himself to their headquarters last Saturday at 9 am and subsequently his men executed his warrant of arrest.
Lagare expressed his compliment to the responding police personnel for a job well done and relentless effort to place the most wanted person under police custody. He also stated that cooperation and support of the community is the key to making Bukidnon a safe place to live and do business.
