FOUR Barangays in Cagayan de Oro City that have fewer drug users and pushers must be the priority on the government’s drug clearing operation.
This was the agreement that came up during a meeting last Tuesday at Emergency Operation Center at City hall with officials at Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (Cocpo), City Anti-Drug Council (Cadac), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-10).
Police Col. Aaron Mandia, Cocpo Director, said it was City Councilor Romeo Calizo, Cadac co-chair who identified the four Barangays, which according to him have fewer Persons Who Use Drugs (PWUDs) and fewer pushers as the priority in a drug clearing operation
They agreed that Barangays 1 and 22, F. S Catanico, and Besigan are the ones that will be given the emphasis on the program.
