MISAMIS Oriental Congressman-elect Yevgeny Vincente Emano is offering a P500 thousand reward to whoever can point to the killer and mastermind behind the killing of political propagandist Federico ‘Ding’ Gempesaw.
Emano said he is in pain over the loss of Gempesaw, who was shot dead by still unidentified assailants yesterday near his residence in Sitio Macanhan, Barangay Carmen, this city.
Gempesaw served as the late former City Mayor Vicente Emano and Padayon Pilipino Party as runner and spokesman up to his death.
Emano called the killing of Gempesaw an act of cowardice.
“Subo kaayo, ligdong nga tawo, dili kawatan, giluthang sa walay puangod nga mga tawo. Tinalawan kini nga binuhatan,” Emano said over a radio interview yesterday.
He added that at 62 years old, Gempesaw is too old to be killed by those who may have been affected by his commentaries on a radio yesterday.
“Dunay mga tawo na apektuhan sa iyang pamaba. Dunay nahalangan sa iyang gipangbutyag diha sa kahanginan. Kaning mga naapektuhan tinuod siguro ang mga binuhatan niini,” Emano opined.
