POLICE operatives arrested a male beautician for selling illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation Monday, this week.
Police Provincial Director of Misamis Occident Police, P/Col. Anthony Placido identified the suspect as Phing Kevin Alforque, 28, single, and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Sta. Maria, Tangub City of the said province.
Taken from the suspect were 18 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with an estimated street value of P12, 784.00; P2,208 cash and P1,000 buy-bust money.
A police report said that prior to the arrest, Tangub police led by P/Capt. Ghueniel Cañete and other units conducted a test-buy at 7:15 pm at the said place where the suspect was able to hand a sachet of alleged shabu.
Alforque is currently detained at the custodial facility of Tangub police station awaiting the filing of an appropriate case.
