Bukidnon police confiscated a total of P35,000 worth of suspected shabu during a raid against a 24-year-old illegal drug personality on Monday, this week.

Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, the province’s provincial police director, identified the suspect as Trojan Sevilla married, and a resident of Purok Mauswagon Barangay Pinamaloy, Don Carlos of the said province.

He was arrested inside his residence by personnel assigned at Don Carlos Municipal Police Station, together with other police units at 4 pm.

Seized from the suspect’s possession were a medium size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet and another 16 sachets all containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with an estimated total street value of P35,000; and several drug paraphernalia.

The search and seizure warrant was issued by Judge Isobel Barosso of the Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 8, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon dated July 6, 2022.

The confiscated evidence was brought to Provincial Crime Laboratory Office in Malaybalay City for quantitative and qualitative examinations.

While a case for Violation of RA 9165 or anti-illegal possession is now being prepared against the suspect who is temporarily detained at the said police headquarter.
