IN a month, the Bukidnon police arrested 42 drug personalities resulting in the confiscation of illegal drugs amounting to some P224,364.

This was according to Police Col. Reynante Reyes, the province’s police director during a ceremony and a press conference Monday.

Reyes said the accomplishments were due to the relentless efforts conducted by the Bukidnon law enforcers covering the months from September 28 to October 23, this year.

In the same occasion, the Police Provincial office also presented 55 confiscated assorted firearms and explosives.

There were also 122 individuals including 29 most wanted persons and 93 other wanted persons in the province who have been arrested.

There were 46 motorcycles impounded due to various violations.

On the campaign against communist rebel groups, Reyes said his men were able to convince eight personalities to return to the folds of the law along with three firearms.

In the implementation of local ordinances, there were a total of 272 individuals arrested including drinking in public, smoking ban, walking outside the house half naked, curfew, and other ordinances.

Also, a total of 198 minors were rescued from the different areas of the province. wherein, some of them were believed to be utilized by bad elements to commit crimes.

Reyes said the accomplishments were the results of the collective efforts of policemen in the fight against various criminalities in their area of responsibility.

In his speech, Reyes commended the top-performing city and municipal police stations for their outstanding performance in their weekly Operational Accomplishment Rating.

The Provincial Director assured the public that Simultaneous Anti-Criminal Law Enforcement Operations and other police operations in the province will be carried out consistently.

He also stated that the full support and cooperation of local governments in the campaign against all forms of criminality will ensure the province of Bukidnon’s peace and order.

The activity was attended by the local chief executives and other local government representatives, the Chief of Police, Force Commanders of the 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Company, the National Support Unit, uniformed and Non-Uniformed Personnel, media practitioners and Bukidnon Provincial Police Office life coaches.
