By ADELFA LACHICA and TOMASITA ASEQUIA Correspondents ILIGAN City-- A business woman was robbed in broad daylight, Thursday July 9 here in the city. Police identified the victim as certain Sheham Tomawis 32 years old married and a resident of Ubaldo Laya extension this city. Police only knew the robbery when a  vehicle believed being abandoned  by the canapper was repoted to authorities. A Mitsubishi Pajero color black with plate no. XAK 471 which was reported to authorites being  abandoned at Block 1 Purok 14 Tipanoy this city. Police station 5 personnel  idenfitied as PO1 Balaba proceed to the area  to conduct investigation on the reported abandoned vehicle. It was then that authorities found that  a buiness woman along with her driver identified as Rolando Catubay 20 , single resident of Mahayahay,  were on board the said vehicle  when the robbery happened. Police said  investigation revealed that  un identified suspects suddenly appeared at the back portion of the vehicle and pointed the man alleged caliver .45 pistol and then declared a hold up and asked   Sheham the money. The victims were then driven away and  dropped at C3 road. It was later learned that perpetrators carted away  P49 thousand  pesos cash and  jewelries. The Soco team is still investigating the incident while Police Inspector Enrique Francisco Dungog still conducting  further investigation regarding the fleeing suspect.
