Carpenter nabbed for rape raps

AUTHORITIES arrested a 28-year-old carpenter for a two-count rape complaint over the weekend.

Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Bukidnon Provincial Police Director, identified the suspect as Adonis Lontayao, single, and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Sinanglanan, Malaybalay City of the said province.

The suspect was arrested by Malaybalay City Police Station tracker team together with 1004th Regional Mobile Battalion-10 at the former’s residence Saturday at 7:40 am.

Judge Isobel Barroso of the Regional Trial Court-10, Branch 8, Malaybalay City who issued the arrest warrant, recommended the suspect no bail bond for the latter's supposed temporary liberty.

Lontayao was brought to Malaybalay police headquarters for documentation and proper disposition.
