OPERATIVES from the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (Cocpo) arrested an 18-year-old suspected pusher during a buy-bust operation yesterday at 10:30 in the evening.
Police Col. Aaron Mandia, Cocpo chief, identified the suspect as Jalal Maruhom, single, and residing at Sunrise Village, Barangay Kauswagan of the said city.
A police report revealed that personnel assigned at Police Station 3 in Agora led by Police Capt. Ernesto Miranda through a poseur-buyer bought a sachet containing a suspected shabu worth P1,000 from the suspect.
When the arrest took effect a body search followed. The arresting team found from the suspect’s possession nine more sachets also containing the same suspected illegal substance worth P180,000 and weighing 25 grams.
Also confiscated were the P1,000 buy-bust money and some personal belongings.
Maruhom has been brought to Police Station 3 where he is temporarily detained.
