CAGAYAN de Oro City operatives arrested Monday’s two suspects who robbed and killed a store helper yesterday.
Police Major Aldrin Baculio, Police Station 8 commander in Lumbia, identified the suspects as Edzel Manual and Botchie Hidalgo, both are unemployed, and residents of Sitio Bulahan, Barangay Dansolihon of the said city.
The two have been tagged as the ones who robbed and killed 34-year-old Mark Lenn Maraguinot, married, and stayed at the L&N store located at the same place.
Baculio said the victim succumbed to a lone stabbed wound to the body. Neighbors found him lying on the floor, already bathing in his own blood.
Lumbia police who responded to the crime scene immediately conducted a hot pursuit operation and caught the suspects.
The suspects are now temporarily detained at the Lumbia police station mini-cell.
