ONE of the most wanted persons in the municipality of Balingasag in Misamis Oriental has been arrested by authorities, Monday afternoon.
Police Col. Gonzalo Villamor, Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Director, identified the suspect as Jesson Sumaylo, 29, single and presently residing at Purok 6, Sitio Tugas-tugason, Barangay Blanco of the said town.
Sumaylo, who was tagged by the police as the 9th most wanted person at the municipal level, was arrested by a joint manhunt operation conducted by the tracker teams of Balingasag Municipal Police Station and Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office.
The suspect was arrested at his residence by virtue of a warrant of arrest for an attempted murder case.
A court Judge who issued the arrest warrant, allowed the suspect to post a bail bond of P120,000.
Sumaylo was brought to Balingasag police headquarter where he is temporarily detained
The suspect is now detained at Balingasag Municipal Police Station for booking and proper disposition.
