IN Bukidnon, a farmer, a jeepney mechanic, and a laborer are now inside the jail after they were arrested in separate police operations last Friday.
Bukidnon Provincial Police Director John Mark Lagare identified the suspects as Rey Bahayan, 44, married, laborer, and a resident of Purok 6, Barangay Simaya; Jeffrey Jurolan, 38, married, farmer, and a resident of Barangay 11; and Dale Bryan Capa, 41, married, mechanic, and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Casisang, all of Malaybalay City of the said province
Bahayan was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by personnel assigned at Malaybalay City Police Station led by Police Capt. Christian Serdeña at Purok 2, Barangay Simaya of the said city at 4:24 pm.
While Jorulan and Capa were also nabbed by the same operatives at Purok 5, Barangay 11 of the same city at 11:15 am.
Seized from Bahayan were four sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated value of P6,800 and a P500 buy-bust money.
An XRM motorcycle with plate number 1001-252248 that he used was also confiscated to be presented in court as one of the evidence.
Meanwhile, authorities found from the possession of Jurolan and Capa four sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with an estimated street value of P6,800, a P500 bill, a sling bag, and two Honda motorcycles without plate numbers.
All the suspects are now under custody by Malaybalay police pending the filing of an illegal drug case.
