IN just one day in Bukidnon, two farmers, and three unemployed suspected rapists were arrested by authorities in a separate police operations Wednesday, this week.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Bukidnon Police Provincial Director, identified the suspects as Juvy Ongaye, 39, single, and residing at Purok 2, Barangay Victory, Lantapan; Reynan Ayalin, farmer, married, 44, and a resident of Purok 3, Banbanagan, Barangay Maraymaray, Don Carlos; and Junerey Sesbino, 30, single, unemployed, and residing at Sitio Taulan, Barangay Iba, Cabanglasan.
Also arrested were Eugenio Aragon, Jr., 43, married, unemployed, and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay San Isidro, Quezon; and Rolando Raganas, 58, married, farmer, and residing at Purok 5, Batangan, Barangay Balangigay, Kitaotao.
The first to be arrested was Ongaye at 8 am. He was nabbed by members of Lantapan Municipal Police Station, together with Pangantucan police operatives, Provincial Intelligence Unit, 1st Bukidnon Police Mobile Force Company, and 2nd SF Coy while at Sitio Paradise, Barangay New Eden, Pangantucan.
The suspect has been tagged as 9th most wanted person at the provincial level
Judge Wilfredo Bibera, Jr., of the Regional Trial Court 10-Branch 46, Malaybalay City, issued the warrant of arrest.
Then at 12:50 pm. 44 years old Ayalin was also arrested at his residence. He has been tagged as one of the top 10 most wanted person in the province.
Personnel assigned at Don Carlos Municipal Police Station, together with Bukidnon Police Intelligence Unit, Regional Intelligence Division-10, and 2nd PMFC, arrested the suspect at the said place.
Bibera issued the warrant of arrest against the suspect for five counts rape.
Sesbino was arrested 10 minutes later inside his house by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Ma. Susana Baua of RTC 10-Branch 2, Tagum City, Davao del Norte dated July 31, 2014.
Two hours passed Aragon was also arrested for the same offense at his residence by Quezon, Bukidnon police, 2nd PMFC, and 1003rd MC RMFB 10.
Judge Isobel Barroso of RTC 10, Branch 8, Malaybalay City, issued the warrant of arrest for the two counts rape.
Lastly, at exactly 2:15 pm, Raganas was nabbed by authorities at his house by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Barosso.
The suspect has also been tagged as 4th most wanted person at the provincial level.
All the suspects are under the custody of police stations where they belong for proper disposition.
