A construction worker tagged as the number 1 most wanted person for robbery and carnapping, was arrested at Alubijid, Misamis Oriental last Saturday.

Police Colonel Raniel Valones, Provincial Police Director, identified the suspect as Ramil Ogsimar, 40, single, and a resident of Barangay Casisang, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

The suspect was arrested by personnel of Alubijid Municipal Police Station led by Police Major Reynaldo Peoylo-Sandigan together with elements of Malaybalay City Police Station led by Police Lt. Col. Ritchie Salva, and personnel from Bukidnon 2nd Police Mobile Force Company led by Police Lt. Col. Randy Anito at Barangay Lanao, Alubijid at 8 am.

The operation was conducted by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Emmanuel Pasal, Assistant Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court 10th Judicial Region-Branch 9, Malaybalay City, and Judge Wilfredo Bibera Jr., Assistant Presiding Judge, RTC-Branch 10.

Pasal slapped the suspect with no bail bond for the murder case while Bibera recommended P360,000 bail for the robbery-carnapping cases.

The suspect is now under the custody of Alubijid Municipal Police Station for booking and documentation and will be turned over to the issuing court for proper disposition.
