A 24-year-old laborer in Bukidnon is now in jail after he was arrested by authorities for four counts of rape over the weekend.
Police Provincial Director Restituto Lacano, identified the suspect as John Mark Macun-ay single and residing at Purok-1, Barangay Payad, Pangantucan of the said province.
The suspect, who was tagged by the police as the second most wanted person in the province, was arrested by a joint operation composed of the Bukidnon Police Intelligence Unit and Valencia City Police Station operatives.
The former was nabbed at 9:15 am at Purok 15, Barangay Lumbo of the said city by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the court.
The judge did not allow the suspect to put up a bail bond for the suspect’s supposed temporary liberty.
Macun-ay is temporarily detained at the Valencia police jail facility for proper disposition.
