A 22-year-old drug suspect was arrested by the police during a buy-bust operation yesterday afternoon.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Bukidnon Provincial Police Director, identified the suspect as Jory Sacote, single, and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Sinangguyan, Don Carlos of the said province.
He was nabbed by operatives assigned at Don Carlos Municipal Police Station together with Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit, Regional Drug Enforcement Unit, and 2nd Bukidnon Police Mobile Force Company while at Purok 12, Poblacion Sur, Don Carlos of the same province at 2:45 pm.
Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were seven sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 35.1470 grams and with an estimated street value of P2,39,000, a Suzuki raider motorcycle without a plate number, P600 cash, and a mobile phone.
The suspect is now under the custody of Don Carlos police for documentation and proper disposition while the confiscated pieces of evidence will be brought to Provincial Crime Laboratory Office, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon for quantitative and qualitative examinations.
