THE Philippine Army’s 4th Infantry Division (4ID) held a retirement ceremony on Sunday to honor a military officer and three civilian employees for their years of dedicated service.

The event, held at Camp Evangelista in Patag, recognized the contributions of the retirees to the division’s peace efforts and overall mission, according to Lt. Col. Francisco Garello, Jr, head of the 4ID Public Affairs Office.

Major General Jose Maria R. Cuerpo II, 4ID commander, delivered the keynote address, expressing gratitude for their service and wishing them well in their future endeavors.

“It has been an honor to serve alongside each of you. Many of you I’ve worked with for years, and I’m truly happy for this time we’ve shared,” said Cuerpo.

Among those honored was Lt. Col. Adzramien T. Sahisa, the 4ID Muslim Chaplain, who received a Plaque of Honorable Service for over 21 years of service. Civilian staff members Mildred Y. Banag, Cordelia S. Dominguez, and Elisa R. Cabugnason were also recognized for decades of work in the division.

The ceremony was attended by officers, personnel, civilian staff, and the families and friends of the retirees.
