A 32-year-old employee of a pineapple company was arrested for illegal possession of drugs during a buy-bust operation, yesterday evening.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Bukidnon Provincial police director, identified the suspect as Basemark Tilucan alias ‘Maymay,’ single, and a resident of Purok 1, East, Panalsalan, Maramag of the said province.
He is connected with Del Monte-Philippines.
He was arrested by personnel assigned at Maramag Municipal Police Station led by Police Lt. Col. Julius Clark Prisco Macariola at the same barangay at about 10 pm.
In a police report the suspect, upon sensing that he was negotiating with a police officer, threw the hot items away from him.
Confiscated from the suspect were nine sachets containing suspected shabu
P6,800, P500 buy-bust money, several drug paraphernalia, and personal belongings.
The confiscated illegal drugs were brought to Bukidnon Forensic Unit in Malaybalay City for qualitative and quantitative examinations and urine tests.
