AUTHORITIES arrested a resident of Barangay Agusan for possession of suspected shabu and a high-caliber firearm yesterday evening.
Police Maj. Peter Tajor, Police Station 6 commander, identified the suspect as Aniano Sevilla, Jr alias ‘Budoy,’ 35, single of Zone 7 of the said barangay.
The suspect was arrested in an entrapment operation by Tajor’s men at about 10 pm at the said place.
Prior to the arrest, a poseur-buyer was able to buy a sachet containing suspected shabu from the suspect.
Further, police found in the suspect’s possession three sachets containing suspected shabu with a street value of P34,000 and weighing five grams.
Also confiscated was a caliber .45 colt pistol, a .45 caliber magazine, five caliber .45 cartridges, and a P500 buy-bust money.
The suspect is currently under the custody of the said police station.
