A 33-year-old farmer was arrested in connection with a rape case, Wednesday, this week.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Provincial Police Director, identified the suspect as Bernald Calibayan, residing at Purok 3, Barangay Bangkal, La Roxas, Maramag of the said province.
He was arrested by personnel assigned at Maramag Police Station headed by Police Major Charlie Nemeño together with Alamada police North Cotabato led by Police Major Bryan Espinosa at his residence at 10 am.
The suspect, who was tagged by the police as the third most wanted person at the municipal level, was nabbed by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Lily Lydia Laquindamon of the Regional Trial Court-12th Judicial Region, Branch 24, Midsayap, Cotabato.
Laquindamon recommended the suspect no bail bond for his supposed temporary liberty.
