A 28-year-old fiesta reveler died after he was stabbed several times by a still unidentified suspect at 1 pm yesterday.
Police Corporal Alnel Mark Salvacion assigned at Malaybalay City Police station, identified the victim as Nemuel Pepito, single, and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Dalwangan of the said city.
The incident took place at Purok 2, Barangay Patpat in the same city. The suspect is still unidentified.
In a police report, it was revealed that the stabbing incident happened when the victim was heading home from a barangay festivities.
It was said that the victim was waylaid by the suspect and without a word attacked him with a bladed weapon and stabbed him several times in the body
Pepito sustained multiple stabbed wounds in different parts of his body. He was rushed to the nearest hospital only to be declared dead on arrival.
Malaybalay police have conducted a thorough investigation for the possible identity of the suspect.
