GENERAL SANTOS CITY – After two years and nine months, Police Senior Superintendent Froilan Quidilla has relinquished his post as the city director of General Santos City Police Office (GSCPO).
The turnover of command was held Monday, July 6, at Camp Fermin Lira after SSupt. Quidilla officially received his reassignment orders from Philippine National Police (PNP) officer-in-charge Dir. Leo-nardo Espina.
Quidilla will temporarily be replaced by SSupt. Maximo Layugan from the Regional Public Safety Battalion 12. Quidilla will be transferred to the Police Regional Office 11 as the chief-of-staff of Chief Superintendent Wendy Garcia Rosario.
During the official turnover ceremony, Quidilla expressed his gratitude to City Mayor Ronnel Rivera for his untiring support.
“I thank the mayor for giving me the opportunity to serve him under his administration,” Quidilla said. Quidilla was already the PNP city director when Mayor Rivera assumed office last July 2013. “Finally, I am now stress-free,” Quidilla joked.
“I have to commend SSupt. Quidilla for the effort he has given to implement peace and order here in the city. (PIA 12)
