DEALINGS on how the government can continue to respond to individuals’ needs, City Councilor George Goking today vowed to establish a permanent “action team office” for emergencies.
Goking even said a “continual office” that will assist someone who needs help after the normal 8 hours of work of an employee in the government.
In a crisis, affected people take in information, process information, and act on information differently than they would during non-crisis times, he said.
This office will accommodate every call received and put up their concerns directly to the concerned government agency that they are calling or wished to be asked for help on their needs.
Goking said personal even a government transactions that need an immediate reply, particularly blood, medicine, and most especially financial support to save lives.
“By understanding how people take in information during a crisis state, we can better plan to communicate with them,” Goking added.
All of these, according to him will be immediately referred to the persons assigned at ATO and referred to the government offices concerned or to persons who are in authority to answer their queries without delay.
“Problems like accidents happen in a split second, ATO is likely a lifeline,” said Goking.
He said the undertakings are from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. that contains different consultants on call.
