ILIGAN City ― As of Thursday, the city has three positive 2019 novel coronavirus disease cases.

City Health Officer Dr. Cherlina Canaveral said yesterday that the two Covid-19 patients came from Lanao Del Sur while another comes from this city but who had a travel history in Makati City.

The 67-year-old male is currently admitted at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center based in Cagayan de Oro City. The two had died since then, one of which was buried in Cagayan de Oro while another one was buried in a lot owned by the city in Bonbonon, a hinterland barangay.

As of Wednesday, there were l7 persons under investigation with 46 persons under monitoring.

Meanwhile curfew in the city is now being imposed from 6:00 pm to 6 am.

According to Jose Pantoja, city information officer, a siren will be heard at 6:00 pm signifying the start of the curfew time.

The curfew hours are embodied in Executive Order 34 signed by Mayor Celso Regencia which also prohibits the selling and consumption of liquor. This is to "strengthen the enforcement of enhanced community quarantine."
