FOR selling petroleum products illegally, a 41-year-old person was arrested by authorities, yesterday morning.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Bukidnon Police Provincial Director, identified the suspect as Reynald Pata, married, and a resident of Zone 2A, Lumbo, Valencia City of the said province
He was caught in the act selling diesel products at the mentioned place at 10:40 am by members of a joint team of Valencia City Police Station, Regional Special Operation Unit, 1003rd, and Regional Mobile Force Batallion-10.
Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were four gallons containing diesel petroleum products worth P6,000; P1,500.00 bills, and some empty plastic containers.
The suspect was brought to the Valencia police station for proper disposition.
Lagare expressed his compliment to the responding Philippine National Police personnel for a job well done and relentless effort to place the person under police custody.
He also warned the public that the PNP will not tolerate the illegal reselling of petroleum products, adding that resellers of such products must secure certificates of compliance if they want to re-sell liquid fuel.
Lagare added that cooperation and support of the community is the key to making Bukidnon a safe place to live and do business.
