A 25-year-old passenger jeepney driver was arrested by the police for sexual abuse yesterday afternoon.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Bukidnon provincial police director, identified the suspect as Robert Fabian, single, a resident of Zone 4, Barangay San Miguel, Manolo Fortich of the said province.
He was arrested while at Barangay Tankulan, Manolo Fortich of the same province by members of Manolo Fortich Police Station together with Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit at about 1:45 pm.
Authorities nabbed him by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of sexual abuse issued by Judge Jeanne Marie Abarrientos Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court 10, Branch 11, Manolo Fortich.
The Judge recommended no bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
Fabian is now under the custody of Manolo Fortich police and will be turned over to the issuing court for proper disposition.
