POLICE arrested a 23-year-old laborer in Bukidnon in connection with a rape case Sunday afternoon.
Police Provincial Director of the said province Restituto Lacano, Jr., identified the suspect as Fanny Bansalan, single, and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Maambong, Libona of the same province.
Authorities nabbed the suspect at his residence at 3:30 pm. The suspect has been tagged as the second most wanted person at the municipality level.
Arresting team assigned at Libona Municipal Police Station, together with the 1st Bukidnon Police Mobile Force Company, served the warrant of arrest, dated July 14, 2021, for the crime of rape.
The court judge did not allow the suspect to put up a bail bond for his temporary liberty.
The suspect is now under the custody of the Libona police for proper disposition.
