In the presidential race, Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte maintained his lead while Sen. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Rep. Leni Robredo were tied.
Dr. Astrid Sinco, assistant director of XU-Kinaadman, said the latest survey involved one thousand respondents--473 in the 1st District and 527 in the 2nd District. The margin of error is +3.1 percent at 97.5-percent confidence level.
The survey results show Moreno way ahead at 42 percent, followed by Rodriguez (26 percent), and Emano (22 percent). Independent mayoral candidates Eric Saarenas had 0.2 percent while Felix Borres and Romer Cabildo had zero. Sinco said 10 percent of the respondents were undecided.
Sinco said Moreno emerged as the preferred candidate in both districts--48 percent in the 1st District and 37 percent in 2nd District.
Emano received the second highest in the 1st District with 27 percent where Rodriguez only had 14 percent.
In the 2nd District, Rodriguez was behind Moreno at 29 percent while Emano received 25 percent. It was a statistical tie between Rodriguez and Emano.
For vice mayor, Uy has taken the lead at 37 percent. Reelectionist Vice Mayor Caesar Ian Acenas, who was ahead in the first Kinaadman survey, followed with 30 percent while Councilor Roger Abaday, Rodriguez’s running mate, registered at 15 percent. Kinaadman said 18 percent were undecided.
Uy’s ratings shot up from 27 percent in the last survey to 37 percent in April while Acenas’s ratings plunged by 13 percentage points or from 43 percent to 30 percent. Abaday’s ratings also dipped slightly to 15 percent from 17 percent.
Meanwhile, the elder Rep. Uy has also taken a double-digit lead with 53 percent in the 1st District while his lone challenger, Councilor Lourdes Darimbang, received 41 percent. Six percent remained undecided.
In the 2nd District, former councilor Cabanlas has taken the lead with his 33 percent. Rodriguez’s brother Maximo Jr. had 31.7 percent; Councilor Ramon Tabor, 28.8 percent; lawyer Evangeline Carrasco, 1.7 percent; Chito Fernandez, 0.6 percent; and Celso Balat, 0.2 percent. Only four percent of the respondents were undecided.
In the race for city council seats in the 1st District, the Top 10 are Councilor Ocon ranked No. 1 with 5.52 percent, Annie Daba (4.18 percent), Edna Dahino (3.94 percent), Romeo Caliso (3.86 percent), Jay Pascual (3.70 percent), Reuben Daba (3.46 percent), Alvin Calingin (3.41 percent), Dondon Allorin (3.25 percent), Marlyn Lagumen (3.22 percent), Lordan Suan (3.22 percent).
Kinaadman said 32.11 percent of the 1st District respondents were undecided.
In the 2nd District, the Top 10 are Dr. Gaane (4.15 percent), Teodulfo Lao Jr. (4.03 percent), Nadya Elipe (3.89 percent), Roger Villazorda (3.70 percent), Richard Baban (3.60 percent), James Judith (3.58 percent), Ian Nacaya (3.58 percent), Dale Mordeno (3.44 percent), Norris Babiera (3.34 percent), Josefina Bacal (3.50 percent).
Kinaadman said 25.85 percent of the respondents were undecided.
In the presidential race, Duterte kept his lead at 59 percent. Sen. Grace Poe followed at 16 percent, Manuel Roxas (13 percent), Vice President Jejomar Binay (nine percent), and Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago (one percent). Three percent were undecided.
For vice president, Rep. Robredo and Sen. Marcos tied at 28 percent. Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano registered 22 percent, Sen. Francis Escudero, 11 percent; Sen. Gringo Honasan, four percent; and Sen. Antonio Trillanes, two percent. Five percent were undecided.
