FOR a murder charge, a farmer in Bukidnon was arrested by responding policemen yesterday.
Police Maj. Dennis Rowel Flores, Talakag Municipal Police Station head, identified the suspect as Felipe Silaynon, married, and residing at Barangay 5 of the said town.
The court Judge did not allow the suspect to post a bail bond due to the gravity of the case which is considered a heinous crime.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, the Provincial Police Director said personnel from Talakag Municipal Police Station led by Police Lt. Nilo Maderse, together with 1st Bukidnon Provincial Mobile Force Company, Bukidnon Police Intelligence Unit, and 1004th Regional Mobile Force Batallion-10 arrested the suspect inside his residence at 4 pm.
The arresting officers were armed with a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jose Yamut, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court 10-Branch 11, Manolo, Fortich, Bukidnon dated December 29, 2009.
Silaynon is now under the custody of Talakag police for proper disposition.
