A 46-year-old farmer in Bukidnon was arrested by police operatives for a murder charge filed against him.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Bukidnon Provincial Police Director, identified the suspect as Daisy Sagayan, married, and a resident of Purok 6, Barangay Pinamula, Kibawe of the said province.
The suspect, who was tagged by authorities as the number 1 most wanted person at the municipal level, was nabbed at his residence by the Kibawe police station led by Police Lt. Ruel Literatus at about 1:00 pm.
Judge Benjamin Estrada of the Regional Trial Court 10-Branch 9, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon dated February 7, 2011, did not allow the suspect to post bail for his temporary liberty.
The suspect is now under the custody of Kibawe police for a proper disposition.
