THE elements of the City Drug Enforcement Team of Gingoog City Police Station on the evening of November 10 nabbed the alleged drug suspect and the cosfication of P477,000 worth of alleged shabu at his residence at Barangay Minlagas in this city in the person of Arbec Mahinay 33 year old single.

Police Lt Col. Cecelio Q. Orcullo, City Chief of Police has confirmed.

He said the suspect was arrested in an operation by Search Warrant No. SW - 30 - 2023 issued by Judge Mirabeaus A. Undalok, presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court RTC 10, Branch 43 here.

Which during the service of the search warrant resulted in the arrest of the suspect and the confiscation of the following evidence, Col.Orcullo said.

He said the authority also recovered from the suspect residence a one-unit alleged .38 caliber with 4 pcs bullets.

Three pcs alleged 5.56mm caliber live cartridge, one pcs alleged 357 caliber fired cartridge case.

While the suspect was placed under arrest for the violation of Article II Section 11 and 12 of Republic Act RA 9165 and for Violation RA 10591 for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, he said

The authority also confiscated other evidence of alleged shabu placed in Brgy 25 in this city, he said.

But most of the items were confiscated at the residence of the suspect, Col Orcullo added

The inquest proceedings against the suspect were done at the Gingoog Hall of Justice the following morning while the suspect is still detained at the Gingoog Police mini cells as of press time.
