BUTUAN City-- New People’s Army- North Central Mindanao Regional Command spokesperson Allan Juanito claimed the New People’s Army apologized in the death of a 12 year old minor accidentally killed when some 50 NPA rebels raided Army patrol base camp in Sitio Mahayag, Barangay Namnam, San Fernando, Bukidnon, afternoon of June 14, 2015.

The surprise NPA raid at the Philippine Army’s 69th Infantry Battalion patrol base camp resulted to the seizure of 13 high powered firearms composed of a mini-sub machine gun, five pieces of M-14 rifles, three M-16 rifles, one M-203 grenade launcher, two pieces of .45 caliber pistol and one .38 caliber pistol.

Also seized by the NPA rebels were Harris radio, vests, military packs and telescopes. In a two pages press statement signed by NPA-North Central Mindanao Regional Command spokesperson Allan Juanito and confirmed by NDF-Mindanao spokesperson and Mindanao NPA leader Jorge Madlos a.k.a Ka Oris claimed they will compensate or help the family of the 12 year old minor victim caught in crossfire during NPA raid that killed the boy. “We are sorry for the untimely death of the boy and we will try our best to connect with the family of the victim so that we can extend our indemnification and assistance. We hope we can also help in the burial of the victim” NPA spokesperson Allan Juanito said.
