"As we go through these extraordinary circumstances, we at NutriAsia stand as one with the nation in embracing the spirit of Malasakit and Bayanihan."
These were the statements made by Nutriasia Chairman and CEO Joselito Campos, Jr. to help the Filipino people fight the spread of the Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
"We are extending our humble support and service to the most vulnerable of our countrymen severely impacted by this worldwide pandemic," Campos added.
For over 75 years now, according to Campos Filipinos have welcomed NutriAsia on their table.
"Today, when they need us the most, Nutriasia pledges P100 Million to help keep food on the table of our kababayans," Campos said.
In an alliance with Project Ugnayan, grocery packs consisting of basic goods and food essentials or grocery vouchers will be distributed to the most affected residents of Metro Manila to tide them over this difficult time.
"NutriAsia also pays tribute to our health workers and the military for their selfless service in protecting Filipinos against COVID19," Campos said adding that they have reached out to nearly 80 hospitals and 8 LGUs to help, in their own way, the brave medical and military front liners by providing them with Locally juice drinks to keep them hydrated and help boost their immune system.
We have also partnered with chefs, caterers, and restaurants in providing food to these modern-day heroes.
Last but not least, he said that NutriAsia continues to commit their support to all their employees and partners in operations, so they can, in turn, take care of themselves and their families.
This is our way of paying it forward. This is our way of thanking everyone for all these years that we have been part of your family, according to Campos.
"As long as we remain strong and united as one nation, we will be able to overcome the challenges before us," he said.(PR)
